Never got into that show. Watched one years ago where there
was an old “mother” (symbolizing the Confederacy) who was
all warped & crippled up & slept with her “sons” & had
more defective babies. They kept her in the trunk of a car
& killed people. That did it for me on that show. It was
as transparent as Saran Wrap. I’m a Southerner; and if they
could afford to flip me the bird, they only wanted
Yankees in their audience.
That episode is named, “Home”, and is my husband’s favorite. SOOO weird. Old lady kept yakking about “the War of Northern Aggression.”
That was “Home”, which is usually considered in the top ten episodes.
The Xfiles never took themselves seriously. If I recall, the sheriff in that Episode was black and named Andy Taylor. There was some funny stuff in that one.
You shouldn’t be so sensitive. It’s not all about the Civil war. They had one from Maine that made them look like idiots too.
