I disagree with 5 and 6.
I still buy CDs, because I like to read the lyrics and notes, I enjoy the sound through my ancient but quality music system speakers and although you can scratch it you can’t accidentally delete a CD or have your songs trapped inside a crashed hard drive.
And as for “online storage”...yeah, what could possibly go wrong with uploading your personal files into the hands of others?
CD players are becoming the latest 8-track machine.
Love ‘em or not, but it is old technology.
Yeah, that’s my biggest complaint. I am in the process of transferring all my home movies and photographs onto CD’s/DVD’s. They will last ‘forever’. Instead, they want me to trust the cloud with my family memories? At the same time, if all the DVD players become obsolete, I am screwed.
like reading books....I much prefer to hold and maybe own a good book then go online to read it....
I agree. I'm no Luddite but I don't think I'll ever trust the cloud thing.
If I can buy a used CD for $3.00 instead of paying $1 per song streaming why wouldn’t I buy the used CD and rip it to my computer?
