No, you don’t. You are holding citizen Trump to the standard of politicians. He has never been elected, and therefore, you are judgmental rather than fair. If your high standards include voting for someone who is a liar, a cheat and fraud, and someone who is selling out this country, then I question your high standards.

Anyone who would lie openly about his relationship with Christ is a deceiver in his heart

A single Senator has no more power than a private citizen to get a bill signed into law, especially when the President will veto it.

And if we all are unfortunate enough to have The Donald as our President, even he will learn that all his bluster can't build a wall unless he can get it through both houses of Congress, which I don't think will happen.
