Jim Gilmore: Hillary's Worst Nightmare? (Vanity)
02/05/2016 | Myself

Posted on 02/05/2016 10:04:57 PM PST by Crucial

OK, so Hillary's been a bad little sociopath. She let an ambassador and three other Americans get brutalized and murdered. She feels nothing for them. She just knows what she wants and that is the Presidency. What she deserves is to be prosecuted and jailed.

Enter Jim Gilmore. Gilmore worked as a prosecutor. He also worked in Army counterintelligence. So he knows what he's talking about when it comes to Benghazi. He's a natural born citizen by any definition. He's a veteran. He's got executive experience and is a very solid conservative.

Why are we not considering Jim Gilmore? Do conservative Americans want to limit their choices when this might be the last time they have any real choice?

A thousand pardons, nopardons, but what is unforgivable is to give Hillary the keys to the WH because Trump mouth turns her into a victim or some legal technicality disqualifies Cruz or Rubio. Cruz wasn’t born in the United States! Rubios parents weren’t even citizens at the time of his birth! Who’s being stupid, really?

You are being stupid AND politically naive.

We all get it...you ONLY like Gilmore. But guess what? NOBODY ELSE DOES, which is so obvious, to everyone but you, that a blind man can see it!

He's a lousy campaigner, he has been completely INVISIBLE, this whole time, and your Don Quixote act has become more than boring!

Trump will NEVER make Hillary into a "victim" and he is the ONLY person who can beat her, if she even makes it to becoming the nominee.

How long have you been interested in politics?

Have you EVER worked on a presidential campaign?

Jim Gilmore is not a serious candidate. He doesn’t even register in the polls. We could as easily find a FReeper to be a candidate. Gilmore is just another politician on an ego trip. He should have left the race a long time ago. The real question is why is he still pretending to be in the race?

With Trump, he is at least eligible. No Supreme Court decision has ever defined an NBC as one who is born to two non citizen parents. He’s out. Cruz’s eligibility is dicey.
The mother’s nationality traditionally merges with the father. All presidents of this country have been born on U.S. soil.

But Trump panders so much he’s become the silly putty candidate.

Gilmore is not a Hillary Nightmare, gilmore is one of those things that wakes you up while trying to fall asleep that makes you jerk and makes you feel like you are falling that you shrug off and fall back to sleep in 5 mins...

It’s a political site, why can’t he talk about politics? At least Gilmore is a Republican.

Trump can never beat Hillary. She has all the dirt on him. Who knows if he wants to beat her, since it would cost him money.

Hillary could get over 65% against Trump.

All presidents of this country have been born on U.S. soil.

George Washington was born in British America. And cases such as his were provided in the Constitution.

Because he was 6 years removed from being both Governor AND Chairman of the RNC. In 2008, when he ran, he was the last GOP Governor of Virginia. He was a first-tier candidate.

The other first tier candidate who expressed an interest was RINO Congressman Tom Davis. However, Davis behaved like a petulant child when this race came up. He demanded the nomination be handed to him without opposition, which was a ludicrous demand given that he was not considered a Conservative. When he was informed he’d have to campaign for the nomination, he not only refused to run, he quit his Congressional seat in a fit of pique, which went to the Democrats.

Nobody thought Gilmore was a spectacular candidate, but did consider him credible. Had we known he’d perform like a second or third tier (desultory, as it turned out) joke, obviously we’d have been better off taking chances with the second tier candidate who’d have been willing to take a kamikaze run at Warner, that being Del. Bob Marshall (who lost by less than a single % point at the convention to Gilmore).

Yuck, Tom Davis. What is that loser doing now?

Didn't he do some robocall against Republicans when he was in Congress or something like that?

Well, to be fair, 2008 was just a bad year for Republicans.

No idea what he’s up to. He turned into a real disappointment, but haven’t they almost all ?
