The mother whose story of adopting a homeless African American teen inspired the Oscar-winning film The Blind Side has spoken of her pride after her son reached his second Super Bowl.
Leigh Anne Tuohy, a mother-of-three including Carolina Panther's offensive lineman Michael Oher, said it is 'amazing' that he is returning to football's top competition this Sunday.
Speaking to Today, she said she is 'really excited' to be watching the game on the field, adding: 'I'm going to put my bling jersey on, and be the proudest, most obnoxious momma I can possibly be.'

I loved the book even more than the movie.
Looked at the picture. He actually does look a little like her.
All joking aside, this is beautiful.
My brother told me that had he or I raised a black child taken straight from crack addicted mother, he would go on to college, a great career and probably a happy marriage and life.

The book was a lot better than the movie was. And I did like the movie.
Not sure most readers will even understand the political implications. But the mom is pretty clear for anyone who’s paying attention:
‘We need people to get involved and make a difference. Money is not going to change it â it’s about people. It’s about us realizing that everyone has value and about being nice to the guy next to you.’
That was a nice story. That said, GO BRONCOS!!!

One of our nephews and his wife have adopted 2 boys from Africa. One from Nigeria and one from Ethiopia. It is turned out very well so far, they are great kids.
