Is there some law that is preventing him from taking his family to El Salvador where I assume he can drink and drive to his hearts content?

Repeated drunk driving without a license, and three kids without a marriage. May we assume that his “partner” is on welfare and food stamps?

I’m thinking the war is over - adios, amigo, and take your family with you. Bottoms up.

Based on his age and the fact that he’s not married to the mother of his U.S. born children, I would propose that he has a legal wife in El Salvador, which would make showing up with his present family awkward.

All of his children are U.S. citizens.
BS. They're anchor babies and as illegal as the father.

Gosh Julio, Kinda makes me wonder if you had followed the rules 30 years ago, you would not have to go back and start over.
But look at the bright side. Your kids are American citizens and may be alble to sponsor you. By 2021 you should be in legally. Well, that is if the illegals don’t jump ahead of you and the new el Presidente doesn’t change the current policies. If that happens, you will be in the same boat as the rest of us. FOOKED.

"...changes in immigration policy might tear them apart."

The writer choosing to say 'tear them apart' is a tip-off that this is meant to tug at heart-strings.

Is there something that prevented him from rectifying the situation and and applying for legal status in the last thirty years? I knew of people that worked for me who had family members in the country illegally, the family members went back to their country of origin and applied for legal entry, it took a little time but they got it.

Lived in this country for 30 years and never became a US citizen.

Convicted of multiple crimes.

Failed to show his children the importance of Holy Matrimony.

Failed to make adequate future plans for his wife and children.

They seem to be clamping down on productive types....

**A Glastonbury ballroom dance teacher has made a life in Connecticut after moving from Russia three years ago to teach.

He has become a favorite among students, even lending his talents to dance in charity events, but now immigration services has denied his request to renew his Visa.

Alexander Konovalov moved to Connecticut in the summer of 2012 as a ballroom dance instructor for Fred Astaire studios.

*I love it here, I want to stay,* he said.**

I think we should issue these multiple anchor babies passports, so that when they turn eighteen they will be more than welcome back here. No need to break the young family. I am sure they will enjoy El Salvador.
