If he weren’t just too good for the folks he wants to vote for him, he would stay in a hotel like everyone else.

Does create that impression...

As I have said in other threads. Trump needs to be in NH signing up voters.

Imagine, Trump commuting from the DC to NY every night...

If he weren't just too good for the folks he wants to vote for him, he would stay in a hotel like everyone else

Think about it. A major snowstorm without much warning moved in. NH already has a hotel room shortage during ski season, and they're over-run now with primary-related guests. With Trump, there's the issue of Secret Service and security. Doesn't it make sense to get the plane back to NYC (a real short flight) and be in his house for the storm? What's he going to do? Force folks with reservations to be kicked out so he and those with him can get rooms?

Besides which, it's probably not best for people to go out for a rally while storm cleanup is going on.

But enjoy your whine, by all means.

If you live in the same town would you stay at a hotel after giving a speech or just drive home?

When you have a private 757 at your beck and call, your definition of what a "commute" is is a bit wider. No difference.

“If he weren’t just too good for the folks he wants to vote for him, he would stay in a hotel like everyone else.”

You would think some of his supporters would open their homes to him and his staff.

In Iowa, he slept at the Holiday Inn Express. Did you know that, or do you just throw out insulting posts being ignorant of the facts?
