Skyscrapers, also have a construction cost problem. Above 10 or 20 floors, costs go up geometrically. According to Trump in “Art of the deal”. Of course that was written in 1987, and I’m sure construction techniques have improved since then.

I wonder how much chinese steel is used in the new building? That chinese steel sure worked out well on the new Bay Bridge. /s

9/11 taught architects and engineers the problems with the solution they found for that with the World Trade Center design, which also solved some of the core service problems.
