When I applied through my own state’s exchange I was able to save the application and return to edit it any number of times before finally submitting it. Also was able to see the estimated premium cost before doing the actual submission. Your NY website may or may not be set up the same way. Iincidentally, I really never did have any difficulties with the application. The next year, renewal, was a different story!

I got an estimate that said around $350 to $400 a month, but it said that for any income I entered whether I entered 2 bucks a year or 2 million, at least for New york. It just seemed very buggy the website so I cancelled it. Even if it is $400 a month, that is a LOT of money! Compare that to car insurance which is on the free market, they are practically giving it away “name your price”. Trump says if he is elected he will put HC on the free market, I hope. I may wait until then. Either way this whole thing stinks of massive corruption, imagine owning a business where the US government mandates the people buy your product. That’s what is going on with this Obamacare. “Buy this companies product or we will punish you” F them and the BS they rode in on, seriously. Get government out of healthcare, get the John Edwards ambulance chasers out, and put it on the free market, create competition and health care would be the same as car insurance.
