You must have nice hands.
It rubs the lotion on it’s skin.
Oh no. They told me my hands were a mess. It’s unsettling, enjoying my retail time only to have some dark and angry people trying to get in my way and grab my hand.
I’ve seen kiosk guys like that @ Fashion Show Mall in Vegas.
I started taking very circuitous routes within the mall to get from one place to another.
Ive gotten approached by them too..its a common thing. Its like they know I have dry hands or something LOL I just say “No thank you” and walk away
They never bother me, checks hands.
I hear you though. My wife gets pestered if I am not with her. A few times they start to approach , but I just look at them and they just leave us alone.
Must be too ugly for them.
Something similar like that happened to me. I was at a mall in Raleigh North Carolina and this foreign young man at a kiosk tried to get me to buy some night facial lotion. I kept trying to walk away while he kept talking very fast, trying to sell me the $200 bottle of lotion. When I laughed and said no thank you, he beckoned me closer and showed me a box that he had pulled out from a cabinet in the little kiosk. There was a little tear in one of the corners of the box and he offered to sell me the lotion for $30 since the box was damaged. He became quite furious with me when I told him that the box was worth more than the lotion and again, no thank you.
This is everywhere, I had to stop my wife from yelling at one of them last night. It’s really an aggressive and annoying third world sales approach.
They shouldn’t be trying this on a southern woman. We are short-tempered and packing heat.
The people at the mall near me are Israelis. They sell “Dead Sea” salt hand lotion.
They have always been polite to me. The women are often drop-dead gorgeous.
I don't know if it is the same company. If not, then your bad luck. If so, maybe they are more desperate to make money.
Tell them next time that if they ever touch you again you will headbutt them, knock them on the ground and make them a laughing stock in front of their pals.
Just tell em your hands get rough working on the PIG farm. Snap a picture if you can of their eyes “Don Knotting”,
People from the ME are often very aggressive, no manners, don’t take no for an answer, and get quite rude and obviously annoyed when you’re clear that you’re not interested in the garbage they’re trying to sell you. Plus they often smell.
Cracked has an article up now about who these bottom suckers
might be.
One reason we quit the mall experience is these kiosks
3rd-worlders have no perception that in the US, the customer is always right.
Definitely third world, but the reason I posted this—which third world?
What timing....
“5 Ugly Secrets Behind The Kiosks At Your Local Mall”
“You know that endless string of mall kiosk guys who hassle you at the intersection between the Orange Julius and Hot Topic? They mostly sell shi**y novelty products, electronics, and the idea that you should never make eye contact with a stranger. Those dudes can’t be legit, right? We spoke to one of them, a guy we’ll call David, and the answer can be summed up as “f**k” and “no.” In fact, it’s so much shadier than you could even imagine. For example ...”
Ignore this if you’re sensitive about rude language.
Was in NY city a few years ago and boy they are bad there. Trying to sell fake watches etc.
