Funeral services for LaVoy Finicum will be held Friday, February 5 in Kanab, Utah, according to the statement. Kanab is located about 40 miles from Finicum's home town of Cane Beds, Arizona.
According to a Facebook post on "LaVoy Finicum's Stand for Freedom", the funeral will be at a church house at 1436 S. McAllister Drive with visitation from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a service from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The post states all are invited to pay their respects.

If I were at my present job more than 90 days and was eligible to take time off, I'd strongly desire attending.
Perhaps someone who does the facebook thing can look at the above referenced page and let us know if there's more info from the family there.
I assume anyone who attends will be photographed and tracked, but most of us are already on the communist thug’s “Enemies List”.
Wonder why they don’t identify “a church house” as being Mormon.
i’ve been in kanab, beautiful country! i would attend but alas, too far.
Do we know any details of the shooting other than the doctored government version? I looked up the address and this appears to be an LDS (Mormon) Church, so will probably make a certain element on this forum happy.
The location and the number of his children, makes one wonder if he was practicing plural marriage, along with others in the region for over 100 years?
Short Creek, Hildale, Colorado City etc.
Does it matter?
Speaking for myself, Mr. Finicum, by all accounts, was a good man. I pray for him and his family after this tragic event.
While I may disagree about their doctrine and theology. What happened to him, doesn’t make me “happy” in any way shape or form.
Good man..? Great man. De Oppresso Liber!
I found this interview with a first-person witness who was there:
From what I’ve seen and read, only married to one woman and many of the children were fostered or adopted.
I don’t think this is the time to speculate on such matters.
Will only help to lead this thread down a path that I don’t think is appropriate for the forum or topic.
The location, “Kanab” pretty-much guarantees it’s Mormon.
I am ashamed to admit that before the 26th, I only paid passing interest in the Oregon Standoff. After that time, I have started to educate myself a little about the issues at hand, including viewing LaVoy’s youtube video channel. Nothing I have seen indicates he is a member of FLDS.
Large families are common in more than just that particular sect. In my own family for example, my mom is one of eight (PA Dutch/Anabaptist), my husband is from a brood of thirteen (non-religous farming family from Colorado & Alberta), and I know many Amish families back in beautiful upstate NY where no one would think it odd to have eleven children with one husband and one wife.
I think most were foster children.
On this video starting at 18:13 LaVoy mentions a book of fiction he has written and that it is available on Amazon. The background of the video is his ongoing struggles with the BLM and a response to people who want to come help like they did for Mr Bundy. He thanks them and says, "now's not the time" but says if they want to help out, they can buy his book.
The Amazon reviews were pretty good before hateful spammers started giving it one-star reviews just to be mean to a dead man who happened to hold a different view than they did. I post this to y'all and anyone else who may want to show support but are not able or desirous of going to Kanab.

Please pray for Shawna Cox and all the Patriots. Have you ever gone to a protest? It could have been any one of us who has. When is it time to stand against this tyranny? Please speak up to your representatives and demand a full investigation.

Will you stand with LaVoy Finicum? Or are you waiting until they kill your neighbor?
