Since no such thread has started yet tonight, I'm starting one. This text is copied from the last thread:
"DO NOT VOTE ON THIS THREAD.
"This is the nightly DISCUSSION thread for the ongoing 2016 Free Republic Caucus. Per caucus rules, no comments are allowed on the caucus thread itself - hence this open chat thread."
The most recent voting thread: Free Republic Caucus 2016 01/29
If you intend to vote, please follow the instructions given there. Thanks!
As far as Monday night is concerned, I think Rubio is going up, and Trump and Cruz are coming down a bit. I think all three, in whatever order, will be in the 15-33% range. “Three tickets out of Iowa,” as they say.

Thanks for starting tonight’s thread, LB. Wish I’d seen it before belatedly posting a second one. I’ll probably ask the mods to take mine down now.
Much appreciated.

It looks like the last day's results shortened the distance between Cruz and Trump on both sides.I'm just sad that the poll respondents are so small.
It's too bad we don't have a front page or a floating sidebar encouraging participation. Surely there are more than 300 of us around here daily?
That’s one of the cutest polls I’ve taken in this election season. The cutest part of all is that there was no discernable vote tally. I mean- did 5 people vote? 50? 500? They are all pretty meaningless... but this one stands apart. Pssst- Don’t tell anyone but I voted for FOX News, just so I could see how many people voted.
Now I has hurts. ;0(
I’d love to see more participation, one of the reasons why I started plugging in numbers into a spreadsheet was to track the daily votes, curious how much participation would change each day, and seeing those numbers go down is rather depressing.
I think part of the problem is that it is a rather public poll. Anyone can look and see exactly how you’ve voted.
I’m starting to see “Vote Trump” postings all over FR now, and not just on the FR Caucus threads. Doughty One has started quite a trend.
I noticed paricipation is higher on the weekends than during the weekdays, with yesterday being an exception. Most people may be just too busy or tired to log into FR during the weekdays.
Paricipation? Nope, Participation. :)
Wishful thinking Jeff. LOL! Man you guys are desperate!
Here’s what the Drudge poll says.
**DRUDGE POLL** WHO IS YOUR REPUBLICAN PICK FOR PRESIDENT?
TRUMP 61.64% (205,837 votes)
CRUZ 18.12% (60,508 votes)
RUBIO 7.32% (24,432 votes)
Please tell Doughty1 to let people know that if they don’t follow the specific rules, there vote will not be counted.
Just saying, ‘these are the rules’ isn’t enough.
Spell out the consequences for breaking those rules.
I assumed that you guys were just using a simple “find” feature to work through the votes. That wouldn’t invalidate caps or punctuation.
"You guys"? I'm not rooting against Trump.
Guess we'll begin to see 'Vote Cruz', too. The war of the bumper stickers begins.
I’m excited that Cruz is trending up and trump is trending down.
I’d still like to know how the voting is among accounts less than 3 months old.
