Oh, neat! I bet that was rewarding, because you had an incredible group of students. (unlike my one semester teaching high school...)

My nephew went to the Naval Academy. I thought he went right out of high school but he could’ve gone somewhere else and still called it the Academy. Do all attending go through your program?

Oh no. Only 400 go to the Prep school. If you nephew went directly to the Academy then he didn’t need the extra help. Congratulation to your nephew and thank him and your family for his dedication to the United States of America. We need all the young people like your nephew we can to ensure our future is secure.

It was most definitely rewarding. It is so exciting to see them graduate from the Academy 4 years after finishing the program. One particular student was an enlisted guy who was not that great in high school.....goofed off, partied, etc, but was very good in the military so we gave him a chance. He finished the prep school and then went to the Academy, he finished in the top 10 percent and went to MIT for a Master’s Degree and has done very well. He is a Lieutenant Commander now, married with two kids and is a success story. That might be the biggest success story but we have thousands that have done great and have done great work for the country.
