Today will be the fish or cut bait day for Fox News. Will they drop Megyn Kelly and hand Trump a victory so the show can go on or will they host a debate that will have virtually no viewership.
Ailes must be under immense pressure from advertisers who have already purchased time slots at higher prices which reflect higher viewership estimates.
I can't see how he cannot cave.
They just won’t set any records and lose millions without him. Hmmm... Keep Megyn or lose a helluva lot of money?
Fox’s version of a Hegalian Dialectic...
Where all ten people will see him!!!
It is one thing to walk away from negotiations. It is another thing to violate a done deal.
Can anyone find "escape clauses" in the deal all the candidates made with the RNC that allow him to do this?
Reagan could have done a show called who will be my third wife, your point?
Could not agree more!!!
Demanding that she be removed as a moderator, then having his campaign manager threaten "rough days" for her, then pulling out of the debate when Fox refused to give in to his demands, then tweeting that she is a bimbo is "handling her"???
You think wife-shucking is the new standard for a president of the USA?
They should borrow eastwood’s empty chair for trump.
you’re right - looks like retreat to me. when generals retreat - they expect to lose. sorry we’ll have to agree to disagree.
The cherry on top would be for Fox to cave, but when they contact Trump he sez, “I told you NO and I meant it. My benefit event for our wounded warriors is more important. Buh bye!”
Yup. I would say he handled her quite well despite your characterization.
Fox News and Google have invited three YouTube personalities to ask questions at the Jan. 28 GOP debate, including a Muslim advocate who describes Donald Trump as a bigot and who visually portrayed him as being in agreement with national socialist Adolf Hitler.
That's a threat?
thanks
And all 5 of their viewers would love to see him i am sure.
is trump were polling at 100%? there are other players on the field. and people are still gathering info and making up their minds, especially independents. the conventions and election are months away.
I suppose you think you’ve scored some kind of witty victory...only thing is Ronald Reagan was devastated when Jane Wyman left him him...hardly a good comparison to Trump.
-- Trump has reneged on the deal he made months ago? --
I'm not sure what deal you have in mind. He refused to sign on to support the RNC nominee, then reversed and signed on. As far as I know, he's agreed to limit his debates to those sanctioned by the RNC.
If he does strike out on his own, I supposed he'd honor the conditions of being excluded from all the future (RNC-sanctioned primary) debates. IOW, he wouldn't try to break the deal, he'd abide by its terms.
I’m curious what the debate will look like now? How do you beat Trump in a debate when he’s not there? Are they going to be fighting for 2nd spot and attack each other
“The people who care about the issues will watch. If viewership is down, so be it. Let the folks who worship celebrity go watch something else.”
Trump has been talking about the issues. Obviously, you have had trouble hearing him.
