Today will be the fish or cut bait day for Fox News. Will they drop Megyn Kelly and hand Trump a victory so the show can go on or will they host a debate that will have virtually no viewership.
Ailes must be under immense pressure from advertisers who have already purchased time slots at higher prices which reflect higher viewership estimates.
I can't see how he cannot cave.
More like a duck:
Or change his poistion on something. Maybe he can use the off time to make a deal with democrat leadership.
Trump was going to do the debate even with Meg Kelly there. What ticked him off was the Fox News press release that mocked him
Debates are not required for candidates. Paul refused the previous debate because he wasn’t on the main stage but is scheduled for Thursday’s because Fox put him on the main event.
Only a real uninformed person would call Donald Trump a wimp. Name calling gets one nowhere.
As for the Megyn and Michael show last night, that's less of a slap at DT than it is is an in-your-face way for Fox News to deliberately announce how much contempt they have for their original audience.

I'd say so. The divorce isn't amicable. He's over it, and she'll get over it.
Would you argue that Trump should submit to a debate with Michael Moore? I mean, there must be some dishonest moonbat that you think doesn't deserve to be legitimized by engaging in debate. Trump just draws his line in a different place from where you'd draw it.
That works too, probably better than the “chicken” taunt.
OK!!Your calling me out for name calling while you’re defending the biggest insult hurler EVER...really...Give me a break!!!
I don't think it's an act.
For years I’ll seen a lot of grousing and carping about FOX, and the rest of the “news” outlets. Now that we have someone actively, and quite effectively fighting them, again there is never ending carping and grousing about that.
We should be celebrating that there is at least one person with the guts to stick his finger in the eye of the media, and to spit on them.
“News Flash - donnie is not all that. Iâll be happy to watch the debate without seeing his second grade faces he makes at Jeb.”
Ooh. That’s a new low - standing up for Jeb!
Anyway, enjoy the debate. I’m sure the 1% club and the Canadian will have a lot of thrilling things to talk about... oh, wait. That’s right. They’re going to talk about Trump. All night.
And, yes, if Drudge puts him up, I’m going to vote that Trump wins the debate, because he’s ALREADY won it.
Whatever happens, Trump will declare victory and return to the debate, which is why Ailles should stand his ground.
The tell is the fact that Trump announced this two days before the debate.
This is the 7th debate. Ridiculous.
I had lost track. It feels like the 42nd debate.
Really, this move by Trump is brilliant on so many levels. He’s now grabbed the news cycle thru the end of this week. Hours and hours of free press and discussion all about Trump, and all for a total campaign expenditure of no dollars.
Meanwhile Jeb! has probably dropped another $10 to $20M on campaign ad buys that no one will remember 20 seconds after the ad concludes on the radio.
“What a crock...no one has benefited more from free media than Trump....he’s almost a permanent fixture on Fox....he’s a back stabber biting the hand that has been feeding him.”
So you believe politicians should be beholden to the media whores who give them airtime, then? And if they’re not, they’re “back stabbers”?
That SHOULD be an easy softball for Trump to hit out of the park. It would work to his advantage. But now he won't be there.
"WAAAAHH!! I'm afwaid to go on that big bad debate!! They'we so nasty to me!!"
With the egos involved? It will never happen.
Although I would hate to be the National Accounts manager for Fox News Sales. He is seeing his bonus disappear like smoke.
