So...I’m guessing that in this case racing fuel = methanol?
If so, folks have been making this mistake for years....sigh

Methanol I would guess? Most alcohol racing fuel is Methanol, but IndyCar’s do run 100% ethanol.

Reminds me of the dog I had that had a taste for gasoline.
Caught him drinking from a pan of gasoline I was using to clean carburetor parts. Shooed him away. He ran around the yard like the devil was chasing him, then just keeled over.
