Media personality Glenn Beck administered a mock presidential "oath of office" to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) as he endorsed him on stage—and Cruz got the oath wrong when he took it.
"What is the oath of office that you have to take?" Beck asked Cruz after the Texas Senator joined him on stage after Beck's more-than-half-hour-long speech endorsing Cruz.
"What-what?" Cruz replied.
"Dear God, if you don't know this, everything else-" Beck joked. "When you raise your right hand, what are you going to say?"
"I pledge to honor and defend the Constitution of the United States of America," Cruz replied.
Technically speaking, that's not the oath of office for the president of the United States.

I don’t like Obamacare or Medicare. But after 65 you are stuck with it as your private insurance no longer will cover you. So why get screwed by unfair supplement too.
The way Beck did that was so arrogant. He made Cruz look little and like Beck owned him. Maybe he does own some of him. Who knows?

Okay, I’ve been listening to this rally (?) and staying off the live thread but does Cruz give exactly the same speech every time or did I just have the bad luck to listen to two that are same? I just quit, I can’t take anymore.
Obama never wanted to get the oath. He obviously ignores it’s meaning.
I was on their live thread for a while. I was reading about Beck mentioning that the next pres will have assassination worries. I kid you not. Shortly after that doosey I couldn’t help myself when they went into the whole “Ted should be” this or that if he falters. I had to comment. Ruffles a few feathers. Hope I didn’t swat a hornets nest. Lol
And it's been used by socialists to completely render the tenth amendment utterly meaningless.

He has that natural pained look on his face. He can’t help it. That is is face. But when he is really pained, the guy looks damn miserable. You can even see it in a dinky video.
Must be depressing when as a candidate you are going to VFW’s and diners and speaking to a dozen people while your rival is pulling in thousands at every stop.
Cruz must know it’s over.

When we look back on this election, this is the moment that it turned.
No, I think it turned on the Canadian stuff. Cruz has been dropping like a rock since Trump started hammering on that. Most people just had no idea about that issue. And fair or not after all the funny business with the kenyan people don’t want more of that.
The other big thing is Trump is just a relentless campaigner. Day after day. Multiple events daily. He spoke twice today for about an hour each. If he fights the chicoms on trade half as hard as he is fighting to get eleted POTUS they are screwed.
I am a former viewer of Beck’s station. (I am now embarrassed to admit that) If I remember correctly he had a set made up to look like the Oval Office. He would sit behind the desk and ramble on and on....
I seriously do not think he is playing with a full deck. Cruz needs to cut him loose before he drags him into Nutville.

The Masonic secret society’s icon of George Washington’s personal compass was employed during the ritual. Yeah we need more government to fix what the government screwed up in the first place. How about instead we start repealing every damn health care law the government passed until health care is fixed. Mandating that health insurance shall be sold across State lines doesn't fix anything at all.
