Here are various demonstrations and uses for net launchers and liquid launchers. These non-lethal weapons can be used to slow down or subdue criminals. When used together or used with other non-lethal weapons (such as the 2-pronged weapons called a "riot forks"), they can be very powerful tools for law enforcement, security, and individuals.
Reminiscent to something you would find in a live-action superhero television show, the net launcher is a handheld device that shoots out a net projectile. The launcher is reloadable and has two different net cartridges. One type of cartridge just fires out a net. The other type of cartridge fires out a net with a line that can be pulled. The launcher has a built-in alarm to alert others that the device has been fired. The net can be fired from 2 to 3 meters from the intended target. The launcher has obvious limitations and will only work properly when the intended target is in the open and can be fully wrapped up by the net. The device could potentially allow a victim to escape from an approaching attacker. When two or more nets are used together, the criminal will be completely engulfed in netting and will have a very difficult time trying to escape.
The liquid launcher is a handheld device that rapidly shoots out liquid from two tiny canister cartridges. The liquid launcher can hit targets up to 5 meters away. There are two different types of cartridges. One cartridge contains a liquid similar to pepper spray, and it can be used to slow down or stop a criminal. The other cartridge contains a bright marking liquid that will glow under ultraviolet light, and it can be used to mark a criminal (or attacker) or the vehicle the criminal is attempting to escape in.

This may work well to catch dogs instead of shooting the.
“These non-lethal weapons can be used to slow down or subdue criminals.”
A .45 round usually slows em down pretty good...
Guess they’ve given up on Banzai charges.
Will slow a criminal down.
But when some guy is robbing me, or trying to rape me, or trying to harm me then I really just want a real gun. Not trying to slow someone down that may/may not try to kill me.
I was kind of hoping that - after the two young women had fired the net launcher guns at the guy and thoroughly entangled him - a third young woman would show up, pull a Glock out of her purse, and empty into the guy’s head.
If you let them get within 6 to 10 feet, you shouldn't be screwing around with net launchers. And they sound completely worthless for drones.
Someone comes up with one that works out to 100ft, and they may have a product worth trying.
I like the part where the Japanese cops come in and tickle him
This would be great for stopping unwanted drones flying around your property. We just need to have more of an automated system...
I liked that too.
The actors seem to be greatly over exaggerating the effect of being hit by the net.
Maybe it’s effective, maybe not, but I don’t think I would bring my net launcher to New Orleans, where ferals travel in packs and have guns.
The net guns are good, but I really like those forked sticks the cops have to hold a bad guy down.
I especially like the last guy where he is grabbing the stick and pulling it tighter towards himself...
I guess others have said folks will use their own drones, fly above the offending drone, and drop a net on them to colg the rotors, and then you will have two drones.
I am trying to figure out how to make a net launchers range increase far enough to capture a drone.
You fools. This is just garbage-tech for export to gaijin. It’s well-known that the Japanese use giant robots piloted by co-eds, as well as sexy ninjas, to control internal crime and public disturbances.
I never understood the desire to use non-lethal weapons on bad guys.
.....anyone disagree that a jihadi could just keep on pulling the trigger and chalk up another San Bernardino??
That said, I see it working great in a one on one basis as depicted.
