Celine Dion suffered two personal tragedies in the past weeks, losing her beloved husband of 21 years, Rene Angelil, and her brother Daniel, both to cancer.
But the pop star is reportedly dealing with grief the only way she knows how â by returning to the stage.
People reports Celine is scheduled to perform at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas on February 23, just weeks after the funeral of her husband.
A source told the magazine on her behalf:
"That's what René would want. He wants her to perform and come back."
"He knew her better than anybody and he probably knows thatâs what she needs too, to perform."
The "My Heart Will Go On" singer has worked tirelessly for decades, from touring the world, to performing a sold out show at Caesarâs Palace off and on since 2003.

The great sensation from French Canada.
Her fans are happy to see her return to the stage.
She has dealt with the loss of people closest to her with remarkable grace.
How cathartic for her, to pour her emotions into song with all those people watching. I’m sure there wouldn’t be a dry eye in the house. I would even go.... Maybe.
Kudos to her!
To lose a husband and brother to cancer... not too many people would take it well.
But she knows better than any one that life goes on and the best way to honor loved ones is to live for them.
Its just a very sad time for her and I know all too well the price of the loss of family.
While her style and repertoire are not my cup of tea, she is a very strong and talented young lady.
More power to her, I think that’s exactly what she should do. I lost my wife last year and getting back to work is how I kept going.
Poor woman. I can’t imagine trying to cope with two such losses.
Everyone grieves differently. If going back on stage is how she copes, I hope she finds some solace in it.
One of the most beautiful songs by Celine Dion is “Fly”. Dedicated to her neice, Karine, who passed away from Cystic Fibrosis at the tender age of 16. She died in Dion’s arms.
My heart goes out to her during this time of loss.
