Agree. The "Cruz would make a great VP for our guy Trump" went over like a lead balloon, so why they think "vote for our guy Trump and you'll get Cruz on SCOTUS" will work is beyond me.
Nevertheless, I've seen at least half a dozen posts today where Trumpsters try to get people to drink that kool-aid.
Trump would never appoint someone like Cruz to begin with (an uncompromising conservative constitutionalist that isn't on his list of cocktail party guests) -- the fact Cruz has now ended up on Trump's $h!t list for challenging him in Iowa makes it even less so. Trump won't forget.
Conservativejoy's post #70 in this thread pretty much nailed the kind of appointments Trump will make:

In fact I think many here who jumped from Cruz to Trump like that he is a con man.
They want to see how he deals with Hillary and think that he will con the general voter in November.
As we have seen there are others bitter because many here didnt like Romney and are jumping on Trump Train (or is that Chump Train?) because they see him as their revenge,.
