I took the family to New Hampshire early this morning to meet Ted Cruz. It was cold, but everyone at Lindy's Diner was excited. It was a good turnout and Ted Cruz had a conversation with my 6 year old. I linked to that exchange, I think you might find it endearing and genuine. Later he spoke in the diner for a good while and left to continue on his journey. We had been to a Trump rally, so it was nice to also meet another Republican candidate. My impression of him is that he is a very good man...very smart, and he will defend our Constitution, our traditions, and our conservative values. The people who attended were very nice and the whole scene was 'norman rockwell-ish'. I have 4 girls and they have been involved in the campaign...so they were thrilled to meet Ted. Thanks for listening and hope you enjoyed the video.

Good for you! Nice event. Please ignore the detractor that will show up on your nice and very proper POSITIVE thread.
Disclaimer: I am not a Trump or a Cruz supporter. I am just weary of all the made up negative stuff on FR lately. Go Huckabe!/s
Nicely done!
Very cool, I’m leaning on his Michigan campaign chair for a visit to my tiny town too.
Very smart campaign tactic.
Nice video. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for the video, you have a cute daughter. I think the older one is too. You must be a very proud parent, rightfully so.
Thank you for sharing!
Went to every Pumpkin Fest in Keene over >20 years until they moved the event to Laconia last year. Made it a point to duck into Lindy's during Pumpkin Fest!
Pumpkin Fest as you likely know was always charged with political ardor. I always carved a pumpkin with the name of the latest conservative politician running to join the other 25K+ on display up and down Main Street.
You were a lucky man to be able to bring you kids to meet Ted, and your kids are lucky kids too!
FReegards!
Congratulations! That’s pretty cool.
Instead of worrying about how many people showed up at this event, you should make sure you have a least 6 for your last day on earth.
All 18 in attendance were in awe.
I took my daughter to see Ronald Reagan when she was about the age of your daughter. She shares a birthday with him. When she went to Hillsdale College she asked me to send her a picture of Reagan, so I did and it was nicely framed. She told me later that her friends all liked it and would salute him when they came into her dorm room. They would even ask to babysit the picture when she went out of town.
Yeah, I like Ted. I'll have to agree with your assessment of the man.
We used to have a couple around here. Sadly, they've been replaced.
Thank your for teaching your daughter how government works.
Please go to ANY Trump thread - no matter what the content is.
You will find a huge pack of rabid Cruzers attacking all who are there and whoever posts the thread.
Without fail.
We are tired of their behavior - as it is exactly what they accuse us of multiplied many times over.
This is a family thread. Let's be happy for Blue Turtle's family.
It was a special day for them. :)
I eat at Lindy’s a couple times a year. It’s a nice traditional spot, pretty small though.
Think about whether you trust Trump to appoint conservative federal and SC justices.
After he trashed Scalia I do not trust him.
It’s great to get the kids involved and informed early in life. I pray that some day they’ll be able to say that they saw a president in person, whether Trump or Cruz. Good job!
Let's leave the rancor outside. Celebrate Blue Turtle & his family's special day. His 4 daughters were THRILLED to meet Ted Cruz.
I'm glad they were able to see him up close.
