I took the family to New Hampshire early this morning to meet Ted Cruz. It was cold, but everyone at Lindy's Diner was excited. It was a good turnout and Ted Cruz had a conversation with my 6 year old. I linked to that exchange, I think you might find it endearing and genuine. Later he spoke in the diner for a good while and left to continue on his journey. We had been to a Trump rally, so it was nice to also meet another Republican candidate. My impression of him is that he is a very good man...very smart, and he will defend our Constitution, our traditions, and our conservative values. The people who attended were very nice and the whole scene was 'norman rockwell-ish'. I have 4 girls and they have been involved in the campaign...so they were thrilled to meet Ted. A Diner?

I’ll admit that I don’t know how those work. If you go to one of his rallies at a diner or a Pizza Ranch... does the campaign buy a meal for everyone?

They may not be able to pay for everyone even if they wanted to due to screwy election laws.

Just because it’s at a restaurant doesn’t mean he has to buy everyone food. When I do meet and greets, there’s usually some kind of snack. Nobody really is coming for the food.

Yeah. I just wasn’t sure whether they were or not.
He seems nice. I would go see him if he came near me. I am a Trump supporter. I was a Cruz supporter at first until I heard Trumps platform complete with harsh tone.
I hope things don’t become too contentious between them. Or us FReepers for that matter. I see alot of pissing back and forth, and I too have at times joined in and will probably again. I still respect many here even though we may vehemently support different candidates.
