Hey Bender you know what I am only few people that never could get into Games of Thrones if I want something like I taking Vikings and Last Kingdom
Yeah I did bing watch The White Queen couple season ago I have all Phillipia Gregory novels
Vanderbilt, Rockefeller, Melon, Carnagie, Melon</i>,
All minor league sleaze bags versus the present crop of Gates, Bezos, Zuckerburg, etc.
Simple to explain, Seven-- Very simple. You just don't like... looking at nakked gals!
I think I like history part like Vikings there one episode Laghethia shield maiden was naked in one episode with her top off
Yea Zat iZ Zo.
Possible? Sure. Anything’s possible. Probable? No. Formidible? Well you tell me.
If you start down the path of China chips exclusively, they are backdoored anyway so you gain nothing. And that assumes Congress does not pass laws banning their import since the whole point of Win10 and this new development is survelience of your porn collection and everything else you do.
THEN you have to assume that someone will front the several BILLION dollars and do a manhattan project to get these PCs up and in the public’s hands.
THAN you have to face the reality that everyone from Netflix to Steam to GOOGLE will erect barriers to make their use with their products unworkable.
THEN you have to find enough people / a Market willing to buy one of these digital potatos to get someone to front the several Billion dollars to begin with.
So tell me if the above results in some mass movement to buy PCs that are shut out from all the cool kid things 99% of America buys a PC for.
I don’t think that market, nor the buyers exist fo anyone to lay out the startup for an entire industry to cater to it and certainly not before the holdouts throw their hands up in frustration and buy Win10 NSA boxes.
And what happens when suddenly the chip PC can’t go and use the places or do the things people want a PC for? Like netflix or Steam?
Sure alternatives exist now. You don’t think they are as backdoored as a Win10/Skylake box will be? So what’s the point?
Eventually people will cave willingly because if they want to access their favorite things, they have to do it through the monopoly.
Another great reason to ditch Windows.
PC sales dropped in 2015. People have said for years the PC is dead. This may be the thing that really puts the nail in the coffin.
Prebuilt PC sales dropped but one of the biggest markets, gamers, usually build their own from parts once they learn how. Mainly because the prebuilt offerings speced for gamers are usually several thousand dollars.
You can build a great box from scratch for about a grand that performs as well as most mid range prebuilt gaming rigs. At about $2K you have a top of the line gaming rig vs $3-4K for an equal prebuilt from companies like Alienware. They are fantastic boxes but carry a name premium.
The aftermarket is thriving because of it.
“Hoo boy. Want to buy a new faster computer? Sure hope y’all like Windows 10, because it won’t run anything else, eh? “
Article: “ Microsoft says it will be maintaining a list of approved Skylake systems that are guaranteed to have Windows 7 and 8.1 support through July 17, 2017.”
Anyone concerned with their privacy should steer clear from anything Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Apple, Oracle, and 10,000 other entities that are in the business of making profit out of selling your “private” information.
In other words, they should live under a rock.
True. Unless the rock is in your property, which in this case would be registered in the gubmint database for anyone to find information about.
There is no “privacy”, just illusion of being masked. Use cell phones? Use credit cards? Go to public areas? Shop online? Shop in stores? Travel? Have already died?
Those all result in leaking your identity. Even death will result in leaking identity. Privacy used to be luxury back in the caveman days. Welcome to civilization.
Given that the Gateway AnyKey was built for 1990’s era computers, you could get away with a simpler PS/2-USB converter.
As for the PC/XT keyboard, it operates differently enough to require a slightly more complicated conversion. The link I gave also implements layout/key customization (which would make it redundant for a programmable keyboard).
I alrady feel the pain. My engineering and cnc software does not support 10 yet. Now that new machines will not run anything but I am going to have to upgrade to the tune of nearly 6000 bucks. The software companies know this and have started to raise the cost of upgrades.
Are you expecting that you will get "perfect security" out of that?Nothing's perfect, but this is far better than using Windows as my native OS.
Remember, Microsoft is now spying on their users as a major revenue stream. I choose not to cooperate with them.
Those all result in leaking your identity.So... if you're being gang raped, you should just relax and enjoy it?
I would prefer to fight against it to the best of my ability.
Tell you what. I'll remember it if you can give me an authoritative source that documents it. I've seen lots assertions, but nothing that rises above the level of personal opinion based on speculation.

Microsoft gets aggressive — after 18 months nextgen CPUs like Skylake will only support Windows 10

Intel Skylake CPU details revealed:
These faster, more power-efficient chips can even drive three 4K monitors

...the same 14 nm manufacturing process as Broadwell...Change to Skylake platform comes with high cost due to a new socket (1151) and new mainboards which only support DDR4 memory while delivering only a few percent more performance.
Who or where at Microsoft can I go and buy that information?
