I think its funny that the NFL has used Roman numerals for every Super Bowl until this one. But instead of Super Bowl L this is Super Bowl 50.

Championship droughts for the eight teams:
1947-Chicago/St Louis/Phoenix/Arizona Cardinals
1969-Kansas City Chiefs (now eliminated by New England)
1995-Carolina Panthers (never have won a championship)
1998-Denver Broncos
2008-Pittsburgh Steelers
2010-Green Bay Packers
2013-Seattle Seahawks
2014-New England Patriots (current defending champions)

Out of this group, an all time historic Super Bowl could have been the Cardinals versus Chiefs, now would be Cardinals versus Broncos.
