Too funny. Everybody likes what they like. I like Texas chili, have even made it a few times myself here in the ex-burbs of Baltimore.

But I don’t turn my nose up at chili with beans in it either.

They both have their place. I can be in the mood for either and I do love a good bowl of chili beans. But I am never NOT in the mood for all meat Texas chili and I’ve never tasted a bean based chili that was as scrumptious to my taste buds as the all-meat chills I’ve had.

That’s just me. Thing is, an awful lot of people have never had an all meat chili. Chilil with beans is all they know. They may have had chili with a touch of browned ground beef added for a bit of meat, but most people I’ve talked to have never tasted an all meat Texas chili. They don’t even know it exists until I’ve told them.

I’m in California. In Texas, I am sure that is different.
