Full disclosure: I have a daughter-in-law who has a Black father and three grandchildren who have a Black grandfather.
I notice on the few commercials that show an interracial couple it is, without exception, a Black man and a White woman. It is never the reverse of that. I understand that it is much more common for a Black male to marry a White female than the reverse and I don't care who marries who, (as long a they are of two, separate genders), but why is this?

There are social engineering documents pushed by HR and legal on “fighting unconscious bias” that promote exactly this sort of thing.

Distribute stories and pictures widely that portray stereotype-busting images – posters, newsletters, annual reports, speaker series, podcasts. Many studies show that the mere positive image of specific groups of people can combat our hidden bias.
My nephew bucked the trend. He’s pale white as they come, married a dark black woman. She’s as sweet as can be, bubbly personality. Shocked her mom (my older sister), who was biased against blacks. I often wondered if he married black because of his mom’s bias, but he and the girl are in love. They have two mixed-race sons, and their skin is more on the pale side than dark. When they vacationed in Mexico, the black mom had problems with Mexican authorities in leaving Mexico because they didn’t believe a son was actually hers, thinking she was kidnapping him. Anyway, my nephew is in law enforcement and no one dares bother him on their relationship; he’ll readily defend her.

It is not just commercials.
All of TV is full of inter-racial couples and it seems to be around 99% Black male and White female. That also goes over to pairs on just about every area such as news shows, talk shows, etc.
I am one of those people who seem to be rare now, who think inter-racial marriage between Blacks and Whites is a bad idea. I can remember when columnist Ann Landers opposed inter-racial marriage and she was quite liberal.
I also see where White women who date or are married to Black men are very often assaulted and yes, murdered.
I have no problem with interracial unions, but all the queers showing up everywhere I on TV I find discussing. Biblically there is nothing wrong with interracial relationships, homosexuality on the other hand ...

I was shocked when I saw this FBI statistic from the 2000's. It should also be noted that the FBI stopped publishing this particular statistic in 2009.
What happened in 2009 that would cause a politicized bureaucracy to stop publishing a certain statistic on race? Hmmmm....
I have assumed that it is part of the media’s social engineering. I was recently surprised to see a commercial on television where a white man and a black women are a couple. I can’t recall what the commercial was about but it looked like they were having fun.

It reflects reality. Most black and white couples are black men with white women.
Mainstream American culture — “White culture,” so to speak — has devalued masculinity and courtship, but these continue to a degree among Blacks. Thus Black men are sometimes better prepared and ready to appeal to White women.
