Which Trump Will He Be When He Gets To Washington?
Right Scoop ^ | 1/13/2016 | Right Scoop

Posted on 01/13/2016 4:49:16 PM PST by conservativejoy

Over at Conservative Review today they have an in-depth piece looking at Trump's questionable political history, from his positions on everything from immigration to Syria to even support for Mitch McConnell.

Here's an example:

On September 8, 2015, Trump said the following about the Syrian refugees: "I hate the concept of it, but on a humanitarian basis of what's happening, you have to." Just a day later he partially reversed course:

I think we should help, but I think we should be very careful because frankly, we have very big problems. We're not gonna have a country if we don't start getting smart.

Then he went on to promote a ban on Muslim immigration. This proposal set off an imbroglio within the political world that completely washed away the fact that Trump's first thoughts were to follow the groupthink.

Conservatives need to know if Donald Trump is really the man who will put Americans first and demolish the "dummies" in Washington or if his lack of a coherent philosophy will lead him to reflexively parrot the very politically correct talking points he so vehemently assails and yet has so often adopted. Is Trump who we think he is on immigration or is he pragmatically trying to tap into a frustration to win the primary with a plan to revert to his original talking points after winning?

Indeed we covered that both here and here, where Trump literally switched positions one day apart. I think that's what we call pandering.

And this is just one example.

Considering how Trump has switched positions during this very campaign on important issues (like Syria or Cruz eligibility, etc), which version of Trump will he be when he gets to Washington and decides he wants to get stuff done? Who or what will he support in the name of 'doing business' to get legislation through? Will he be as tough as he is now or will he turn into much more of a compromiser in the name of ‘doing business’?

I really think that's an open question, especially based on his past 'business' relationships.

Cruz has not only sponsored legislation that gave the victims of Ft. Hood Purple Heart Status, he has defended Veterans Rights at the Supreme Court and won.

Which company and where? Don’t just throw mud. Prove it! Otherwise your words are trash. Cite where, how many, and conditions.

Fastasy image: After Trump wins -— Flights of Russian Bear Bombers, flying with US B-52s all dropping bombs on Isis cities. That would be an image!

The same one he’s always been-—the big-government statist.

Seems Trump has a history of hiring foreign workers. This was in several publications, Forbes, Insiders Business. Here is one link:

We could do a lot worse like some amnesty loving paid whore.

We could do a lot better, like a true conservative in Ted Cruz.

There is no such thing ass “absolute.’ Dream on!
i
I like Trump’s ability to think out of the box. That is something he has and all the others don’t. He will always find a way to get it done.
I love the story about Palm Beach fighting him over the height of his flag pole at Mar a Lago. The town claimed it was too tall from base to top and started fining him for every day he didn’t take the flagpole down to the prescribed height. The fines reached something like $127,000....more or less. Trump succeeded in driving a deal with the city for $100,000.00 fine he would pay IF the money was donated to the VA hospital in West Palm-Riviera Bch. nearby. The city agreed and gave the fine to the Vet’s Hospital. Then Trump took down the flagpole, cut it to the right length and erected it on another spot of the property where he had built a hill. When the flagpole was erected again, it was the same height it had been before and was in full compliance because of the measurement from the base to the top. I LOVE this kind of thinking. He WILL be able to get things done!

We won’t get an amnesty. We will get a controlled immigration the way it is supposed to be.

He’s been damn solid on core issues since announcing he’s running

4 months of rock solid. Let's just forget about the previous 30 years.

Just how many times has he changed political parties?

Well they’re doing a good job of perverting what that Confederate Battle Flag (CBF) represented at the same time ignoring the very mentioning of the regimes complicity in engendering those previous racial incidents.

Through the use of the Bully Pulpit The regime began with the Zimmerman case which resulted in a series of assults by black youths on completely innocent whites, hispanics, and asians who were either targeted or wandered near or through black gang infested areas. The perpetators excuse; The reported cold blood killing of Treyvon Martin because he was black

It led to a score or more deaths and serious injuries which were treated as local news ignored and forgotten. And it was met with silence while this was happening. Neither the locqatious POTUS or his political opposition uttered as much as a; Now!,Now! or a tsk!,tsk!.

Those killings were referenced by the Charleston Church massacre perpetrator as his reason in his crazed manifesto.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/3302529/posts

Naturally when it was discovered that mention of those score of murders were used in this nut cases manifesto.

The reaction was....Well we cant let that out. Oh ! His face book has him holding a Confederate Battle Flag, (Which to many is simply an ensign of protest and rebellion), that must be his excuse The Confederates made him do this horrible act ! Let’s get them !

Well they’re doing a good job of perverting what that battle flag represented at the same time ignoring the very mentioning of the regimes complicity in engendering those previous racial incidents.

Even so, just judging by the postings here to defending Trumps typical reaction to any criticism implied or direct will draw a personal response from Trump which never addresses the political issue at hand but a suggestion that the attacker is personally deficient. Trump Chumpions supporting his attacking Haleys rebuttal makes me wonder who they will vote for once Trump does not make the ballot.

Such as with Fox news Kelly; Dispelling any misogyny claim and comparing the news treatment of Sara Palin. Instead on CNN,Trump suggests Kelly was in her “period”.

Or his confrontation with Jorge Ramos when he could have brought up Mexican claims on US states as well as their 2nd class treatment of retirees who can’t vote or own property there, Let alone what the Mexicans do with illegals. Those issues went ignored with his can’t we be friends dismissal .

And before his challange to Haley. Should have told those Brit politicians off who wont let him in because of his position on Islam. Instead threatens billions of disinvestment.

Alas while I find this serious flaw with this candidate. It is also true no one in the chain of command wants to admit that the nut job. While he may have a posting with he being pictured with the CBF. That flag had nothing to do according to his testament with his insanity driven murders at that Charlestown church. Because it is expedient not to hold the regime accountable for its use of the Bully Pulpit creating racial division and the subsequent murders resulting from its abuse of power.

So what’s the big deal? That’s his JOB! He IS a lawyer, remember! He has won 5 cases and lost 4. I don’t consider that a particularly good number. If he’s the quarterback, how many poor passes will he make?

Guess who funds The Donald!

So Trump is the good billionaire and all other billionaires including Cruz's billionaire donors are bad.

That's the world according to many Trump supporters.

Is that what you believe?

Trump is a Nationalist. You know, that old fashioned term that patriots used to be. He doesn’t belong to the One World Order Elite. That is why the establishment hates him. He wants to protect American Sovereignty, something Cruz doesn’t believe in.

4 months is still better than any other candidate, including Cruz, who’s just getting his footing on border security. I forgive him for prior years, based on Rush saying that he’s never been a liberal.

As far as BEING a Democrat, not sure. Don’t remember that being the case, although I know he went for a long time as being Independent.
