The Federal Failure to Counter Jihad
American Thinker ^ | 11 jan, 2016 | J R. Dunn

Posted on 01/11/2016 7:23:46 AM PST by MtnClimber

With the incidents of the past two months, ranging from San Bernardino to Merced to Rochester, we now know that we are essentially unprotected from terrorist attacks.

What San Bernardino amounted to is that government fumbled the ball and then refused to pick it up. Every single error made on the federal level concerning terror since the first inauguration of Barack Obama came to a head, from encouraging Muslim immigration to enabling terrorists to enter the country to crippling security investigations in the name of PC.

The federal government has unilaterally broken a basic element of the social contract - that the citizen will give up private use of violence and support the government in exchange for protection.

That protection is no longer forthcoming. Both the military and police have given up any pretense of attempting to control Islamic terrorism. Homeland Defense was founded to create a new basis for a public employee's union.

Part of the intentional, fundamental transformation.

A better, more truthful headline:

“THE OBAMA REFUSAL TO COUNTER JIHAD!”

The Obama regime and the uniparty seek to replace the people with one more to their liking. The people need to replace the government with one more in keeping with the Constitution and respecting the will of the people.

Bush was just as kowtowing to Islam as Obama. He imported nearly 800,000 of them, defended them against Americans not wanting them here, allowed Major Hasan to flourish, and increased Saudi Student visas 16 fold.

This problem wont be fixed by simple replacing an Obama with a uniparty member.

‘The federal government has unilaterally broken a basic element of the social contract - that the citizen will give up private use of violence and support the government in exchange for protection.’

Lets just consdier that stmt for a few minutes. Isnt this one of the reasons the 2ndA was enumerated? It said that We the People would muster to defend our nation. When was it we abdicated that to a bunch of govt employees? I dont recall any sort of ‘social contract’ stating that. Seems the ‘experts’ have a long and august history of getting it wrong. Theyre pretty good tho at keeping The Little People in line.

The peeps are still allowed to elect a local Sheriff to keep the peace.

Some Sheriffs are better than others...

Mr. Dunns error is to think that the Federal government erred. It did not. It was implementing policy.

It is not a failure or even a refusal. It is an intentional alignment with the jihadists. Like the pigs in Animal Farm.

More like the Saudi Arabia/Dubai era.

It will be interesting to see how many months/yr Hussein lives in Dubai after he is retired.

It isn't "failure." It's REFUSAL.

I think that was his point. The muslims will always be a disaffected group that can be organized to attack the middle class. The left hates the do it yourself mindset of the middle class.

It may be just his Hunting Lodge if he does not retire. We will not know until an election is cơmplete and there is an inauguration.

Yes. Bush was a disappointment to me. He labeled himself a compassionate conservative. To MY mind, he was a half-hearted liberal; meaning that he didn’t make too much of an overt effort to ADVANCE liberal causes, but he did nothing to stop them, either.
