One victim of the Cologne violence told CNN there were too few police on the streets to prevent attacks.

The police can't be everywhere and can't protect everyone. Especially when you let 1.1 million unvetted Muslims into your country.

If only there were some sort of small device one could carry that would deter an attacker, maybe something that could inflict grave bodily harm on the assailant.

Someone should invent something like that.
