I'd give all but $15 million to charities...*real* charities, not art museums and women's (or men's) health clinics.I'd give $7.5 million to numerous relatives (and one or two friends). With the remainder I'd buy a small condo/coop on the Upper West Side of Manhattan,a nice "middle class" condo in Sarasota and a Mercedes S Class. And the rest goes into Treasury bills/bonds.
And in a few years my heirs (I'm old) will get it.

There were three teachers in Maryland who won a huge amount and went to the press conference dressed as clowns and had their trust act as the winners. (Don't know how they did that), but I would be inclined to tell no one except the attorney I am paying highly to not divulge my name.
Come to think of it I only need about 5 to 10 million to do me good invested well. All the rest of the money would be a pain.

After an initial splurge on fast cars and slow women, it would be more money than I could spend in what time I have left.

Spend it on Real Estate.
Hotels at major tourist areas and leave it to the family.
I could spend it with no problem.

Why on earth would you want to buy a place in Manhattan? It’s terrible here.

Yes, I've always thought that if I won the lottery that I'm absolutely obligated to tithe.
Not like it will ever happen, but I thought I'd need to tithe 10% of the entire jackpot. 80MM on 800MM pot.
Tithing on what you get, 496MM makes more sense, but then again, I wouldn't want to "rob" God of what is His to begin with.

Interesting question. I’ll have to ask my pastor. I do know that, as a Methodist, he jokingly said there is a double “sin” tax. So tithing would be 20%! HAR!

I’d write a $1mil check to Jim Rob and tell him he doesn’t have to run a Freepathon for a while.

In my life I haven’t bought a lottery ticket yet. The only way I would buy one is if The LORD told me to and then it wouldn’t be gambling, it would be a sure thing. The Bible says that the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just.

People do better when the make an investment in something.....How about a trust that pays dollar for dollar matching funds to those raised?
Hope you win, by the way!
