I’ve been watching a few old cooking shows on Netflix lately and on one there was the Kentucky favorite, the Hot Brown. It made my mouth water. They used thick slices of white, crustless bread, sliced turkey, crispy bacon, sliced tomatoes and a cheesy Mornay sauce. It was assembled open faced and put under a broiler until bubbly and golden brown. I’ve never tried one but I really want to now.
