It goes back to when Cain thought he could modify reality to fit his notion of the ideal. In other words, when God would need to adjust His nature to accommodate him. Liberals have been trying to modify reality ever sense: from Nimrod to Hegal to anyone who doesn’t recognize the FACT of inalienable rights.

That is the primacy of consciousness. It has dominated western philosophy from Plato, to Protagoras, to Hume, to Kant, and to the postmodernists. It is the opposite of the rational metaphysics of primacy of existence which states that existence exists, and it has metaphysical primacy, and reality is independent of one's thoughts

Liberals don’t “know history”. They “write history”. Then rewrite it when what they wrote in the first place is no longer convenient.
The great thing about being a liberal is that “fact” is defined as “what I want to believe right now” (and history is just a collection of “facts”). No matter where you are, you are the smartest person in the room and anyone who disagrees with you is an idiot (or moron or moran or miron or whatever you choose to use to describe them at the time)
And if the idiot keeps disagreeing you can claim your current location is a “safe space” (a place where “facts” are constantly repeated but truth is not allowed unless it happens to overlap with a “fact”).
