I’m regularly guilty of reading only the excerpts on threads and then commenting. SO glad I clicked on the article and read it all the way through. Never got into watching Fresh Prince, but the article was written in such a way that everybody can grasp what he’s saying.
And he’s 100 percent right. Imagine if an entire generation of Americans of all colors decided to work their asses off and emulate the law-abiding, dedicated, successful people they see, whether those successful people are real or fictional. It would be amazing. Breaking the cycle of bad behavior could lift so many people to heights they’d never have dreamt they could achieve.
