Barack Obama is not really changing gun law. He can't. What he IS doing is creating more jobs for the FBI and BATF and increasing the manpower of both agencies for future use. Also, he is stirring people to anger to be able to mark those who react the most for future reference as well. Don't play the game.
I think this sums it up perfectly. We can all make lists of names too!
And remember, in the Clinton years, they made it so hard to get an FFL that 200,000 people dropped their FFL.
Now they want us all to get one? I SPIT on that. I WILL NOT COMPLY, nor will millions of other Americans.
I heard there was a hugh order of jackboots from China too.
Except for places like California, how does anybody know when a transaction has occurred?
Does anyone find it sick that this creep cries over his image, but never manages a tear for the murder of American civilians by Islamic nutjobs?
2015: The Year of the Gun (All time record number of background checks processed) 1/4/2016
More than 23 million checks were processed through the National Instant Background Check System in 2015, an all-time record.
Let's make Ubama's last year in office a real record breaker! ;-)
Because the FBI has enough manpower to have surveillance teams cover every suspected terrorist in the country. /sarc
Good point. Start with Chicago. Surround certain neighborhoods without announcement and start confiscating illegal weapons. It will take trucks to take them out.
Just out of curiosity, how much does an FFL cost and how hard is it to get one?
He’s changing the law regarding NFA items, but the following excerpt fails to mention suppressors, which hardly can be classified as “the most dangerous”. This will effect all people who have gone the trust route on NFA regulated items.
“Require background checks for people trying to buy some of the most dangerous weapons and other items through a trust or corporation. The National Firearms Act imposes restrictions on sales of some of the most dangerous weapons, such as machine guns and sawed-off shotguns. But because of outdated regulations, individuals have been able to avoid the background check requirement by applying to acquire these firearms and other items through trusts, corporations, and other legal entities. In fact, the number of these applications has increased significantly over the yearsâfrom fewer than 900 applications in the year 2000 to more than 90,000 applications in 2014. ATF is finalizing a rule that makes clear that people will no longer be able to avoid background checks by buying NFA guns and other items through a trust or corporation.”

It’s not too hard—a little study, paperwork and a fee. It also promises to be very lucrative for many soon.
Where did you see that there are more agents in either agency? Only congress can authorize that.
congress never allocated the money to hire additional agents to enforce this.
Sounds interesting, do you need one to work in a sporting goods business that already sells firearms, or does the store itself carry it? Where can one get more info on them?
$200, mundane paperwork, interview. Only real catch is BATFE doesn’t have to approve.
