Pretty funny.
OK, that was funny.
Got to try it next time. Lol
Mysterious ways.
"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked."
Galatians 6:7 New International Version (NIV)
Very funny...in a sad way.
Ain’t given out My Secret!!
That was funny. I am still chuckling.
Meh. I’ll bet that a Hare Krishna member could beat that time.
CBP agent did not do his job. Driver should have been pulled over for a secondary interview. Driver’s behavior was inappropriate. He cheapened the name of the Lord
Ain’t given out My Secret!!
I agree
I challenge everyone at Free Republic to take the following New Year goal: read the entire bible through by the end of the year. It is not that difficult. There are a lot of programs available on line, but for me I will simply read it through chronologically. I have a KJV Bible with commentary by a person known to all on this forum. Everything considered, it has over one thousand pages so my goal can be met by reading a simple 4.2 pages a day, including commentary on every page. Best to everyone in this New Year.
I’ve been both waived through with minimal conversation and stopped with the 3rd degree.
Next time I get the 3rd degree, think I’ll start a conversation about fishing, how much fun it is to catch and release. Then ask them if they enjoy catch and release too.
Fake.
This is pastor Steven Andersen of Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe Arizona.
He would have gladly given the gospel to the fellow, had he agreed to listen.
Our professor guide, who had taken about 79 trips to the same areas and encountered similar "issues" with their borders, told us it was an "excellent time to sing about our love for both our American Heritage and our love for Jesus Christ."
Amazingly, after a stirring rendition of the first few stanzas of "America the Beautiful," the entire Israeli staff returned "from lunch" in less than 30 minutes!
No doubt, if after including a few Gaither songs didn't budge the staff, our professor was ready to give a sermon on John 3:16!
Folks use Christ as a punchline today, but the day is coming when they will wish they would have taken His promises more seriously. I wager about 1 second after death if they chose to ignore His promise of eternal life, when they begin their eternal death sentence.
But hey! Laugh while you can . . . make Him a joke.
So, what was the purpose or lesson the pastor was/is trying to make with this?
