Please ping me with any Southern California related articles. Thank you!
If you want on or off this ping list, please FReepmail me.
The Pilot is owned by the LA Times.
When I was a kid (growing up in L.A.), Orange County was one big Nixon Land. How times have changed.
You understand the situation exactly.
“There are lots of Asians living in OC. Except for the Vietnamese they are only conservative with regard to how they bring up their children.”
That’s been my observation as well.
“Mexico has conquered California. “
With the collaboration and approval of GOPe politicians like Jeb and Dubya, not to mention Obama Democrats.
“Proposition 187 remains the law of the State of California. Mariana Pfaelzer put parts of it under injunction. Temporary injunction.”
You are absolutely right. Gray Davis conspired with Pfaelzer so that her decision was never reviewed by the court of appeals. And then Arnold, sock puppet of the Republican Amnesty crowd, didn’t send it on the appeals court either.
Prop 187 is in limbo thanks to the decision of one woman, Mariana Pfaelzer, and the collaboration of two men, Gray Davis and Arnold Schwarzennegger.
So much for voting.
“Too bad we don’t have the activist organizations like we used to (says the old YAFer.)”
The only activists that the Cal GOPe want to hear from today are La Raza and other such groups. In their opinion white America represents the past and can be safely ignored.
They arrogantly overruled the will of six million Californians. IMO, every murder, rape, and robbery committed by an illegal in California, who would not have been here if Prop 187 had not been put in limbo, is on their shoulders.
Mine too.
I walked into my Viet owned nail place the day after Obama won his first election to find the entire staff in tears. They were horrified, the owner said “I left Viet Nam to be free, and give good life to my children. People don’t realize what they just did voting for this man”.
I lived my entire life in Orange County and finally left about one year ago, taking wonderful memories. It’s so very sad to see what the entire state has become. Sort of like an old friend who is in hospice, going to die, but its so very sad because you recall when they were young and vibrant.
