Personally, I like all of the Zones. Some are less attention getting than most but they all stand up on their own. I’ve got the entire set so I don’t waste time watching these marathons.
But, as an aside, I want to wish all FReepers a very happy and prosperous new year.
FR should have a graphic arts contest at the end of every year.
That is really good.
Yes, then... and now...
Still playing Mr. Death... if you are crazy enough to listen to his crapola--
“Love watching Twilight Zone again and again.”
Me too. Rod Serling is one of my all time crushes, really wish I would have met him in real life.
But....I’m realizing....there’s so many episodes I’ve never seen!
“...it starred a really handsome young Robert Redford as Mr. Death.”
He’s quite good in that episode. And yes, he was really handsome in his youth, you just can’t take it away from him.
Donna Douglas’ voice was overdubbed by someone else. It wasn’t her voice used at all. Great epi. I love it.
Nothing in the Dark with Robert Redford (yeah, yeah, I know, but great episode)
“I think that a reboot of the show could still do well.”
There was a reboot of “The Outer Limits”, some of them were very good. And I really liked it because they kept the lines from the old opener about how your TV had been taken over “we control the horizontal, we control the vertical” - even though nobody has that problem anymore!
See Post #13, This Far posted a link to watch on line.
Twilight Zone and Night Gallery was good enough alone just being able to hear the great voice and narrative of Rod Serling.
Zanti Misfits?
I have only seen one or two episodes... Grew up generally without TV.
I am not a Netflix member... What would be the best way to see any of these episodes? Hulu? Some site?
Thanks!
Midnight Sun- cuz Lois Nettleton!
