Bill Cosby's lawyer says the comedian was charged with a decade-old sex crime simply because a prosecutor was fulfilling a campaign promise.

She also says that once she and Cosby can speak freely, “everything will be made clear.”

Speaking on NBC’s “Today” show Thursday, attorney Monique Pressley said Cosby has been unjustly accused but is in good spirits and will be exonerated.

right and you don’t think they’ll go on the stand and testify they expected a buzz and not to lose consciousness? They already stated that in interviews. why would they change now?

I’m truly playing the devil’s advocate here but the most important issue here is Cosby’s mindset, not the victims. Did he intend on drugging her into unconsciousness and then raping her? Or was he just trying to ‘grease the skids’ so to speak and had a reasonable expectation that the victim planned on having sex with him but didn’t know the drug would knock her out cold?

In any case, I’m done playing the devil’s advocate. I don’t want to start 2016 defending someone I’m fairly sure is a scumbag. Who would I find myself defending next, Bill Clinton?

Thanks for keeping me on the right side of good vs. evil.
Happy New Year!

That’s a nice straw man, but it doesn’t answer the question. As you know, I asked what he actually said, in response to the suggestion that he confessed to the crime. Did he really confess to the crime? If you’re going to ask me to accept his confession as proof of his guilt, I want to know whether or not he actually confessed. I’m not going to accept his confession as proof of his guilt if he hasn’t confessed.
