Enough already? These posts with headlines like, "Will Trump be President? Is ISIS overcoming the Western world? Is Hillary electable? and so on are so stupid and here's why. Such headlines want to elicit and persuade readers to read that garbage for the purpose of selling ads somewhere. No one gives a running flip as to what anyone without about 500 million dollars or more has to say. Someone here can come uop with a brilliant statement or idea and it will go absolutely nowhere because a large sum of money was not behind it.
It would be most pleasant if folks would just post stories providing facts instead of asking inane questions, the answers to which will accomplish absolutely nothing. Even our own speculating is pointless because big money will take things where they want it to go no matter what anyone thinks. When God gets ready, he's going to bring them all to shame.
It’s a propaganda trick to force you to read the whole title before opening / visiting the article, and subliminally influence your thoughts with reinforcement of a negative view of the subject of the article.
2. Oklahoma situation will have no consequence because the world is going to end prior to the election and since this is Oklahoma they will be last to know.
3. “Smart phone” is oxymoronic, like saying Jeb Bush will be elected.
4. Last but not least “people of Walmart” are our voters!! sac/

BINGO?
I’ve noticed Herman Cain is the worst for those clickbait headlines on Facebook. His page can get really obnoxious.
“The top 25 X of all Time”
Where “X” is movies, cars, books, movie stars, whatever. You go there and then painfully click thru 25X commercial laden pages.
I have to say, I somewhat agree with you.
It never is and it never does.
Headlines were designed to convey the briefest summary of the article. Most journalist have forgotten the purpose of the headline.
Will conjectures posing as an articles get old? Ten reasons why people are saying it’s not only possible, it may be happening already.
Here’s a recent example:
