Rendell: Any Dem Will Expose Trump's 'Lack of Knowledge' In a One-On-One Debate (Video)
Breitbart ^ | 12/24/2015 | Pam Key

Posted on 12/27/2015 2:38:04 PM PST by conservativejoy

Thursday on MSNBC, the former Gov. Ed Rendell (D-PA), also the former chairman of the Democratic National Committee, said in the presidential election debates, any Democrat,Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)16%, Martin O'Malley, or Hillary Clinton will "expose" Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's "lack of knowledge about things like the nuclear triad."

Rendell said, "I think any Democrat,Bernie Sanders, Martin O'Malley,one-on-one with Donald Trump would be very advantageous. Donald does well when he controls the agenda. When speaking to a Trump rally. Even in the debates, nine, ten candidates, you know, moderators don't get to press him on substantive issues well. But in a one-on-one debate in the fall, whether Hillary Clinton or any Democrat, Donald Trump's lack of knowledge about things like the nuclear triad will be exposed to the public big time. And I don't think he'll seem ready to be president at that point. "

When asked about Donald Trump's tweet telling Hillary Clinton to be careful, Rendell said, "Let me tell you, with everything that Hillary Clinton's been through in her public career, Hillary's not afraid. She's not afraid of anything. She's seen it all. She's heard it all. She's been attacked by people a lot tougher and a lot smarter than Donald Trump."

? Really? John Kasich and Chris Christie haven’t.

They’re about as Democrat as one can get and still have an R next to their name.

People aren’t all that interested in the debates. The debates are not the decider for most people.

Especially with liberals running them that are in the tank for Democrats.

Trump didn’t arrange for any concrete trucks to show up anywhere. That was the responsibility of the Mob owned concrete companies he employed.

Trump has zero governing experience.

So you’re saying that Trump is exactly like Obama: an idiotic fool whose only talent is playing on peoples’ emotions?

Amen brother, I share your opinion. Only yellow stripes and dead armadillos are found in the middle of the road.

Cruz would factually drown Hillary in ALL debates.

Trump would drown Hillary in ALL debates by turning the debate into the direction and topic he wants, no matter question posed.

No, little troll; that's NOT what I am saying at all.

You imagine that you are more intelligent than the Trump supporters, whom you impugn and demean, with every post; yet YOU are the one who had made a fool of himself and proven just how bereft of any intellect you actually have. You are blinkered and benighted by your own puerile delusions and biases.

That will be the game plan. Try to trap Trump with some wonky ultra detailed question.

Trump would NEVER fall into that media trap.

He would turn a "gotcha question" into the message he wanted to impart to the viewing audience, despite the topic addressed.

Actually, that was the necessary implication from what you said.

Oh good grief...wake up and smell the coffee!

Cruz will be far easier for Hillary to crush than Lazio was.

Just so you might finally "get it"....Hillary does NOT play by the rules, she does NOT actually debate, and someone who dose is very easy prey for her to pick off.

Cruz would be the best debater, no doubt.

But Trump would better at fixing things.

Wow! I'm speechless! is a "foll" a shoe, or is a "didums" a shoe?

If the shoe does not fit like a glove, you must acquit. Doesn't have quite the same ring the way Cochran said it.

I have to admit how shocked, surprised and ultimately delighted I was with Trump's answer to Megan Kelly's ugly feminist screed, that he didn't have time for political correctness, and neither does the country. It was so incredibly liberating to hear someone brush aside the Marxism like a flea. He went after the deeper motivating principle.

That said, he could be tripped up by wonketty wonking, but not for long. Policy detail usually only interests the talking heads, not the electorate. They are incredible snobs who try to equate his low-class Queens accent with his level of intelligence, which is outstanding. Beyond that, he obviously has had to deal with very detailed factual realites as a builder, bringing thousands of aspects into consideration when developing a large, heavily regulated project. His track record is replete with bringing massive projects in on time and under budget. They think that can be done by a stupid person?

Oceander et al. . .

“Undecided voter”? Are you shi**in’ me?
Undecided about what?
Either they get a government check or they don’t.
Either they want to stop illegal immigration or they don’t.
If they would even CONSIDER Hillary for anything other than JAIL, they would never consider voting “R”, EVER.

This election will help to decide whether America survives or not.

Either they get it, or they don’t.

Yes, “undecided.” Those of us - the more or less decided - on forums like this (as well as the fora used by liberals) represent a distinct minority among the general American public. A substantial portion of Americans - enough to swing the election - is not decided and is, for better or for worse, open to persuasion by either side.
