Everyone that reads this story has to realize the establishment is not going away just because we will it so. They are fighting for their own existence and candidate. GOP candidate Marco Rubio is the establishment candidate right now and everyone needs to settle down and watch how this plays out.
I posted a piece about how S.C. Rep Trey Gowdy was going to travel with Rubio in Iowa to stump for him in the new year. This shocked many as they hold Gowdy in high regard but not so much Rubio. Some are calling it an endorsement but Gowdy's campaign said "FULL SUPPORT" but didn't use the word "endorsement."
Then I was given this information and was shocked to see that Gowdy earlier in the year, along with Senator Tim Scott had been given money from Jeb Bush super PAC.
From Florida Politics (Jan 2015):
The committee launched by the former Florida governor and prospective 2016 Republican presidential candidate announced on Friday it gave nearly $123,000 in contributions. The largest payments were $10,000 each to the Republican Parties of Florida, Iowa, Nevada and South Carolina, as well as the New Hampshire Republican State Committee , each playing an important role in early presidential primaries for 2016.
In addition, the Bush PAC gave $5,200 each to individual Republican candidates, such as U.S. Sens. Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire, Richard Burr of North Carolina, Chuck Grassley of Iowa, Rob Portman of Ohio and Tim Scott of South Carolina.
GOP House members who also were beneficiaries of Right to Rise PAC money were U.S. Reps. Barbara Comstock of Virginia, Trey Gowdy of South Carolina, Frank Guinta of New Hampshire, Joe Heck of Nevada, Mia Love of Utah, Martha McSally of Arizona, Elise Stefanik and Lee Zeldin of New York, and David Young of Iowa. They also received $5,200 apiece.
If you are calling Gowdy a RINO after he is doing this for Rubio, STOP! That's his choice and whether or not he choose wisely, that will be on him and his conscious. It's up to you to stick to your candidate and defeat the establishment as you have chosen to do through your social media keyboard activism or walking around the neighborhood door to door.
One thing that does perplex me however, I wonder if Gowdy will return Bush's money to the super PAC. Rumors are that Scott and Governor Nikki Haley will also side with Rubio in the upcoming weeks.

holiday inn express !
They should get you to do commercials! :)
BTW, saw in a Bloomberg article that Cruz is headed South this week instead of Iowa as originally planned.
Understand your sentiment as i ‘exist’ out here on the Left Coast.
Not a dam thing i can do. BUTT i do deliver vile to the scum who represent us, like Gowdy for all the excuses.
IF we had EVERY dam house, the White also, they’d throw in the towel. We have HAD ENUF. Burn it down.
.
Damned curious ... depends on how far south ... Florida’s been avoided like the plague ...
Of course, I would have left Florida alone and focused on Iowa, NH and SC like Ted Cruz has ...
Ted Cruz has a great plan that appears to be well executed ... fingers crossed, however ...

How do you figure Arthur?
It was a joke.
Cantor is Jewish.

Wow, I didn’t realize Cantor was even Jewish...
Aside from being a RINO and a dirtbag I really didn’ realize he was Jewish, I got to wonder if he was a liberal Secular type.
“Gowdy was hand picked by Boehner to head that dog and pony show to protect Hillary and the GOP-E establishment who probably knew exactly what was going on with those arms shipments to Benghazi.”
Exactly, the GOPe was up to their armpits in this also. The finale was McCarthy throwing a rope to Hillary with his stupid comments.
One, he is not a cough cough “conservative” I could support and two I do not believe he is electable.
No vote for GOPe. At least with Clinton, Samders etc I know I am going to be punched in the face. With the GOPe it is constant sucker punching.
I recently watched the YouTube of Cruz speaking in SC, answering questions from Scott & Gowdy. It’s obvious Gowdy is uncomfortable with the whole thing, even when Cruz compliments him Gowdy’s reaction is strained.
“Isnât Norquist also a big front man for bringing muslims into the Country and giving them carte blanche?”
Absolutely. His push for amnesty and unlimited immigration isn’t about poor Mexicans. He married a Palestinian Muslim. Some think he’s a double agent.
