Crazy. 10 foot snow drifts in the Texas panhandle. Winter is coming a howlin. We are going be below freezing every morning for at least two weeks. They must expect this southward polar jet stream to stay lopped down this way for awhile. According to Weather Bell major shift in January and the southeast US will be getting this winter.
Those kinds of drifts are not uncommon around Amarillo and Dalhart, but they are a bit out of the ordinary around here.
