Bristol Palin, the daughter of 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, has given birth to a second child.
Bristol Palin, who turned 25 in October and is a vocal advocate of sexual abstinence before marriage, tweeted Thursday that her "heart just doubled" at the birth of her new baby girl, Sailor Grace.
Palin announced she was pregnant in June, a few weeks after her engagement to Dakota Meyer , a 27-year-old U.S. Marine who received a 2009 Medal of Honor , was called off after a year-long relationship. Meyer tweeted a photo of the baby girl, too, writing: "Best Christmas present ever!! I couldn't be more proud of this little blessing."
Palin's first pregnancy came when she was 17 in 2008 during Sarah Palin's vice presidential campaign. Tripp, who turns seven this weekend, is the son of Bristol'' previous ex-fiance, Levi Johnson, 25, whom she was with from 2005-10.

Here we see the Greatness of God. Sarah said this year was the most challenging for her but now look a new grandchild is expected in the new year. :)
is arrived in time for the New Year, that is.
We just celebrated my son’s 21st on Dec. 23rd. He gets presents on his birthday and Christmas of course. I just asked him if it bothered him at all.
“Well - a little bit now. All of my friends from college are gone back home, so can’t really do much celebrating with them for my big birthday.”
He did go out with an older friend for his first legal beer at a bar.
Congratulations! My oldest son turned 21 last spring. His older sister came on a visit and took him out.
Every time one of these threads comes up, I’m struck at how many of my fellow Freepers were apparently perfect little angels in their teens and twenties.
Thanks for the ping.
This must be a real case of palingenesis (=deep moral renewal).
;-)
And a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Beautiful baby!
you might want ot see a Doctor about that, people who only see natisness (intentional OR otherwise) tend to have shorter lives.
Why not.....St Jude and Shriners solicitations were running at full throttle all day

Wow, do YOU ever have a wrong number. I see beauty and decency all around me most of the time — it’s the “sea” in which I’ve chosen to swim. Perhaps that’s why when ugliness, pettiness and nastiness make an appearance, it stands out to me.
Perhaps YOU need to see a doctor...if you haven’t recognized the nastiness in this thread you just may be BLIND. Or perhaps you just surround yourself with nastiness and so, when it makes an appearance, you don’t even notice it against all the background nastiness in your life.
By the way, I come from a large, robust family of survivors who are very healthy and long-lived...so that is likely to be my fate also. And I wish that same wonderful fate for you and yours also; along with recovery from your blindness.
Bristol Palin was (maybe still is for all I know) a spokesperson for abstinence. I think this is where she gets mocked since she had two kids out of wedlock and hasn’t married either father. She then became a reality tv personality.
As far as I know (and again I may be wrong), taxpayers aren’t supporting her and her kids. She has a few reality show paychecks and other paychecks for that.
I was raised to believe that a baby is always a blessing and still believe this today. I certainly wouldn’t want my children to have babies as teens or when not married but a baby is always a blessing.
My issue, not really an issue since my kids don’t hold celebrities as role models nor do I, is that she was being held to a standard different than those other celebrities, or people in general depending on their political affiliation.
She’s an adult woman, not a child/teen, who appears on reality tv for all the world to comment.
She was hailed as a spokesperson for abstinence before marriage when she clearly didn’t believe or live it.
But a baby, any baby, is always a blessing.

she like the dick ...bottom line...twist it, screw it and fluff for it...dick fells good and she likes it...damn the consequences....ban me if you like.....mamma will pay for it.
I don't care if Bristol's baby is supported by her mom's earnings, her grandparents' generosity, a welfare check or a massive jackpot win; I was just surprised to see so mamy FReepers suddenly make like it's no big deal. Bristol's "indiscretion" is more disappointing to many of us than "Shaniqua's" ever will be because we expect better from her.
I agree and see what you’re saying.
All I’m saying is it’s disappointing that our kids are supposed to have role models other than their own parents and family members. This whole thing of athletes, actors, various other celebrities (including Bristol Palin) being role models is so silly, imo.
I agree about Bristol being held to a different standard on here by some posters, just like she’s held to a different standard by the liberal media. Neither is right, imo.
Unfortunately, I’m probably paying financially and otherwise for Shaniqua’s offspring. That pisses me off more. I don’t really care about either’s “indiscretion” but Bristol is a reality tv celebrity and she set herself up for this commentary, imo.
She is really no different than all the other celebrities and reality tv show “icons” like the Kardashian clan. They’re only relevant because they have “fans.”
But I agree about how some here give her a pass because of her mother.
I think she brought it on herself by becoming a reality tv personality and abstinence spokesperson.
1. She didn't have an abortion. The jackals, hyenas, and other judgmental public shaming jagoffs are nasty people and contribute to a lot of abortions in this country. She knew the left and some Pharisees on the right would be going to have a field day. That's not easy to deal with. She could have easily gotten an abortion and no one would be the wiser.
2. She was very likely engaged at the time. If one is engaged, marriage is very likely to happen. This wasn't exactly fooling around for action.
I DON'T bash them. I'm thankful they didn't have abortions.
I'm was so drunk, I honestly don't remember. :)
I certainly wasn’t but then again I never pretended to be a spokesperson for Abstinence after giving birth and again getting pregnant a second time while unmarried. I also didn’t become a reality tv personality/celebrity who courts the media daily.
Bristol got pregnant as a teen with her teen boyfriend. It happens. She then became a reality tv celebrity and Abstinence spokesperson (on her mom’s coattails). She then got pregnant again while not married. She’s a 25 year old woman, not a child. She is pretty much the “poster child” for why Abstinence isn’t taken seriously.
Those on our side are held to a different standard by the liberal media but apparently they’re held to a different standard by those on this site too.
It’s a brutal world.
Yes, I agree with your post; and your post #119 is spot on!
