George Pickering II has now been released from jail

A father took a gun into hospital to stop doctors taking his son off life support - and during the three-hour stand-off the young man squeezed his hand.
The sign that he wasn't brain dead meant he was kept alive - and he is now recovering and doing well.
His father, 59-year-old George Pickering II, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after marching into Tomball Regional Medical Center in Texas with a gun.

I think it is higher than the number of people killed by firearms.
It is estimated that 250,000 people a year are killed by medical malpractice.
32,000 a year are killed by guns, but that includes accidents and suicides.

The UK (Daily Mail especially) covers a lot of stories that are ‘local news only’ in the United States. The MSM here is worse than state controlled. It’s completely politically driven from the left.
Nullification is not needed in this case. It is a classic self case where he was defending the well being of another, i.e. his son.
It is pretty clear another was being harmed or threatened with harm. So he acted to defend that person.

He was acting in the defense of his son, but these were doctors he’s threatening with the gun.
Of course, glad to see he’s out of jail. I would NOT have convicted the man of anything. He’s been through enough.
Seems like a TV movie.
A good test for Texas. If this prosecution is not tossed. If the jury somehow convicts....... Then Texas will be voting for Hillary
Unless the trial is held in Austin, the jury will probably treat them guy to supper after acquitting him.

Read the article. the hospital wanted the young man’s organs. Also, the mother and brother agreed.
F them half-witted MDs who were going to kill his son....without a gun so all that is cool... right? I am old enough to just consult with doctors these days. I take them all in perspective and am in awe of none of them. I appreciate the superior insights and diagnosis they give me from time to time. But they are all hired guns to me to be used by me! ...some useful and some are fools. I have seen all kinds.
Sorry but you have to use doctors as your pawns these days. In fact the female nurses (or whatever) under them are very nice and helpful. They know how to move things along in a common sense way. Gotta phone one tomorrow who is very smart and will expedite an MRI for me (nothing serious)
So , it does not matter who is threaten harm to another. There is no occupation that gives one the right to harm another who is not breaking the law.
Heck, even the lady who ultrasounds our cows for preg checks only charges $5.00 per head. She did my wife when she was pregnant out in the barn along with the cows. She gave a better due date than the doctor and was able to sex the baby in about ten seconds.
I want all of you to understand what is driving this euthanasia (aka “murder”) movement ...
Organ Donation is big business; and, let me make this really clear, if the patient is CLINICALLY DEAD the organs immediately begin to deteriorate, and thus cannot be used.
“Brain Death” was invented out of whole cloth so to justify murder. The only way that any human organ (excepting the corneas) may be recovered is if you are still alive - your heart beating, and oxygenated blood flowing to your organs. Otherwise, forget it.
So, to harvest organs and feed the money tree that is the transplant business, the medical establishment have to justify murdering their patients ... Obviously this cannot be affected other than through the use of massive propaganda campaigns, so to convince people of how wonderful it is that you become an organ donor, and “give the gift of life” - a truly disgusting irony, since you are actually sanctioning your own murder if you sign a donor card. The entire enterprise is evil.
