Thanks for the reminder about Rick Monday... You are welcome.
I saw a you tube video years ago, it was a heckler at Dodger stadium giving Monday a hard time: "Your Old Monday... Just strike out and put us out of our misery! stuff like that.
The punchline though, was when he said: "Hey! Thanks for saving the flag Rick! We love you for that!
I have looked for it but never found it again.

Ok. You guys win. It must be my fading memory. They say that is the second thing to go.
I never can remember what the first one is.

If I hadn’t quit smoking 28 years, 3 days, 4 hours and 15 minutes ago, I’d light up a victory cigar.

Nope. It doesn’t really matter which team you follow though, you can get threatened and beat up at Dodger Stadium.

FYI Jackie Robinson was a "Rockefeller Republican." Thanks for reminding me. :(
He made some ugly comments after Goldwater was nominated in 1964 including "Goldwaterism is Hitlerism" and saying that he had "a better understanding of how it must have felt to be a Jew in Hitler's Germany".
I was done with him after that.
He worked for Rockefeller for a while and then went on to support Democrats.

I never said it was the only.
But it is one of the worst for visiting fans. In the stands and in the parking lot.

Not sure about that.
I lived in the bay area for 22 years, Giant fans are pretty bad towards Dodger fans. Have not been to a Dodger game in years so maybe it has changed.
As a rule I do not wear opposing team colors when visiting a stadium. By my experience worse fans are U of Arizona. I will not go to a game there based on what I have seen and experienced. Just not worth the aggravation.
On the other hand; I did wear visiting colors to an Oregon State game and the folks there were great!

I would submarine ball pitcher Don Drysdale there second and Sandy Koufax first. I have nothing against Jackie Robinson but putting his statue there is PC nonsense

FYI Jackie Robinson was a _Rockefeller Republican_Yes he was and he died of diabetes complications. If you have the time.... On His Own Terms is a great recent biography of Nelson Rockefeller. The inner workings of how politics is really done behind closed doors
