Sorry, no excuse. This has nothing to do with lefty elites. Read the article and you’ll see that she’s saying something that anybody here would say. Support people when they’re right.
Look, comedians push the envelope of free speech. Sometimes a joke offends. Sometimes that is the point. Sometimes things that are not jokes offend. Sometimes people deserve it. Not of fan of Miss Fay, but there has been WAY too much apologizing going on these past eight years.
That would be right except I very much doubt Ms Fey and/or her fans would give the same latitude to anyone else making similar ‘jokes’ or just speaking their mind for that matter.
It’s the hypocrisy and double standards that is the problem.
