Posting Leftist company ads promoting 60-minutes MSM show. Keep counting there bud! This is great!

Please show me how Apple is any more leftist that is Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Twitter, or any other of the tech companies.

In fact, it is less so. Apple doesn't make political contributions like the others and only got into supporting LGBT when Tim Cook came out of the closet three years ago. These are facts, Honk.

Microsoft has been supporting LGBT for TEN years before that with cash donations and political support, before Apple as a company ever got involved in such support. Microsoft also has been making political donations to liberal candidates for decades while Steve Jobs prohibited Apple from doing any political donations. When a Democrat activist asked why Apple would not make donations to the Democratic National Committee, Steve Jobs answered, "Half of Apple's customers are Republicans. I am not going to piss off half of Apple's customer base by getting Apple involved in politics." He kept it that way.

Any donations you may have heard about in relation to Apple came from the Apple Employees' Political Action Committee. It DID make donations to political campaigns with a split around 90%/10% liberal to conservative candidates and causes. The infamous donation to the anti-Prop 8 campaign in California came from the PAC, not Apple Computer Inc.

Since the death of Jobs, and the appointment of Tim Cook, some of that has changed, but not as much as you might think. Apple supports Environmental issues, but generally only as far as they can improve the company's and Apple products' impact on the environment, and, of course, LGBT issues. They still do not do political anything. Cook and Apple are staunch defenders of Constitutional privacy rights.

Apple did not even have a LOBBYING presence in Washington until just recently, when the tax issue came up in 2013, when the DEMOCRATS falsely claimed that Apple paid ZERO income taxes in the USA, when in fact, Apple paid more Income Taxes in the USA than any other corporation, paying $1 out of every $40 of corporate Income taxes in 2012.

The Liberals are at it again, wanting to claim rights to tax Apple and other US companies' overseas earnings, even though they earned that money overseas and already paid income taxes on those earnings in the countries where it was earned. Our tax laws allow foreign companies to avoid paying US Income taxes on money earned in the USA so long as they pay Income taxes to their home governments, or to elect to pay US Income Tax and not pay their home country Income tax, which ever is lower. . . but the US government does NOT allow US companies the same option. . . instead demanding to DOUBLE TAX earnings of our US companies doing business in a foreign country, requiring they pay income tax there and then again here if the money is re-patriated. The USA is one of only two countries in the world that demands that.

Get some factual information instead of false MYTHOLOGY before posting.
