And you claimed you were not trying to slam Apple. LOL! A lot of those elements are NOT in iPhones and iPads. . . again, nice try. Where'd you get your messy listing???? A lot of those are not toxic at all.

If you don't like these Apple threads, read other threads. I have a find life and it seems YOU are the one who has the problem. I have an excellent reason for posting and responding to TROLLS like you with factual responses. 700 plus reasons, in fact. Those reasons are the 700 plus members of Freerepublic who all have personally asked me to keep them appraised of information about Apple, Macs, iPhones, iPads, etc. I manage the Apple Ping List. . . which has that many members. THEY appreciate these threads, even if YOU do not. They frequently tell me they appreciate them.

Have YOU got anything close to that number of Freepers asking you to make an asshat nuisance of yourself on the Apple threads posting non-sequitur, nonsense posts intended to slam Apple without evidence? I sincerely doubt it.

Here's a list of the not so green minerals, elements and the countries that produce them to make Apple 'green'. And, it is not just Apple. Most of these elements are toxic and that is why they aren't allowed, supposedly, into land fills. So, Bite Me and get a life.

I found your source. . . and it doesn't say: "Most of these elements are toxic. . . " As a matter of fact, most of them are NOT toxic. I manage a dental office and we use many of them in dental implant materials. . . because they are NOT toxic. SHEESH, quit making things up. . .

Also, that USA import list is meaningless for manufacturing cellular phones since none of them are manufactured in the USA. Again, nice try, but a FAIL.

Apple products contain ZERO Asbestos and ZERO Arsenic.

Diamond and Graphite? Merely Carbon.

Gold? Essentially inert for all purposes.

Silver? Not much of a problem.

Platinum? Same.

Copper? A bit more problematic, but not very toxic.

Magnesium? The body needs magnesium for proper functioning. We use it in alloys for some implants.

Titanium? Many dental implants and appliances are made of Titanium. . . when they are not alloyed with Magnesium.

Gemstones? ROTFLMAO!

Aluminum? We cook in it.

Quartz Crystal? Good Grief. Are you serious?

Try and find one that is toxic in levels in a phone. . . I'll grant you Arsenic. Even Asbestos is only dangerous in certain forms with exposure over years.
