Gordie Howe, recovering from a stroke will probably be drafted for the 2017 season. And he would still be better than half the players currently in the NHL.

But seriously, Dickie Moore, great hockey player and Hall of Famer played on some great Canadians teams. I still root only for Original 6 teams.

I stopped watching just after the end of the Original Six. To give you some perspective, when I was in Cubs, a very young Dave Keon was the guest speaker at our father/son banquet.

Rest in peace, Dickie Moore. I remember the good old days when he played, and he played well.
