2.2% of page views of FreeRepublic originate from India, according to the Alexa website:
http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/freerepublic.com
Now, I suppose there could be a contingent of loyal posters from India, but I strongly suspect this represents the hot houses we've all heard about of serial posters and disruptors who come out of the wood work, especially during primary season, to push a given candidate and then switch to "I'm not going to vote" mode come general.
Since there are apparently thousands of real Freepers from India, I encourage you to post here to dissuade me of what I feel certain is correct.
TOPICS:
KEYWORDS: freerepublic; primary; spambots; trump

Guy who owns our gas station is the same. He frequently tells me how corrupt India is.
To: BerniesFriend
I would always laugh when I call computer "support" and the call is answered in India by a man, in broken English, saying his name is Johnny. I wish I said, "Hi Johnny. My name is Punjab!"Is that offensive?
It works even better if you can say it in a BROAD Texas drawl -- "Howdy, Y'awl, I'm Krishnamurty."

A page view and a post are two entirely different things. You should correct that...

One troubling statistic:
Subdomain
Percent of Visitors
freerepublic.com 100.00%
secure.freerepublic.com 0.25%
It may not be completely accurate but it appears only 2 1/2% of users donate.

I am not seeing what is exactly the problem you are having. By the way, your mister president is from a land I have visited many times, and is on the same ocean as my domicile, it is a little known fact.

Interesting, potentially-related story:
http://www.vocativ.com/usa/us-politics/donald-trump-facebook-likes/
Thereâs Something Odd About Donald Trumpâs Facebook Page Donald Trump has more followers on Facebook than any other candidate, but most are from developing countries.
Donald Trump is running for president and whatever you think of his chances of picking up votes, on social media, few candidates trump The Donald.
Yet, thereâs something strange about a lot of his online fans. Only 42 percent of Trumpâs 1,694,561 followers on Facebook are American, while most come from developing nations like the Philippines, Malaysia, India, South Africa, Indonesia and Colombia, a Vocativ analysis shows.
What Trump does have is a large fan base in countries that researchers have deemed hubs for Facebook fraud. Specifically, they are home to âlike farmsââservices through which companies or individuals can buy Facebook likes using zombie accounts run by people who might be paid as little as $120 a year.

It may not be completely accurate but it appears only 2 1/2% of users donate. I hope the donor % level is not that low. In real life, 10-20 % of most organizations do 80-90% of the work or contribute financially in organizations like this.

Some people use a VPN. I do on my desktop, but not on the laptop I use to access FR. Might their IP address be shown as originating from India, but actually originating from some other place? My VPN offers connection ability from all over the world.

We did have a lot of Russians and Ukrainians, but they don’t even register. Same with Israelis.
It’s just obvious it’s a hot house operation.
